==Mitosis== During mitosis the DNA is organised so that the two copies can be separated. The '''purpose''' of mitosis is to generate identical cells for growth & repair. Mitosis occurs in all '''somatic cells''' (body cells). Mitosis generates '''two daughter cells''', that are '''genetically identical'''.
