LAW OF SEGREGATION

=Law of Segregation= Organisms that reproduce sexually inherit at least two versions of every gene, called alleles. During meiosis the two alleles '''separate''' and only one of each allele is passed onto the offspring. This separation of alleles is often referred to as the law of segregation.
